Our client, a distinguished multi-office real estate firm, is seeking an experienced Conflicts Attorney. Key Responsibilities of Conflicts Attorney:
- Collaborate with attorneys, conflicts department staff, and the Firm’s General Counsel to identify, evaluate, and resolve ethical and business conflict issues.
- Conduct comprehensive research to identify or rule out potential conflicts of interest.
- Review and analyze conflict reports to provide evaluations of potential conflicts.
- Serve as an escalation point for Conflicts Analysts
- Research, analyze, and draft conflict waivers, engagement letters, and ethical wall memoranda.
- Collaborate to determine appropriate terms of engagement, negotiating engagement terms, outside counsel guidelines, and conflict waiver terms with clients.
Qualifications:
- JD degree.
- At least 4-10 years of experience as a conflict attorney.
