Role Overview:This role involves handling civil litigation in State and Federal courts, with a focus on responding to discovery. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, providing immediate and effective support to clients and other attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial case assessments and investigations.
- Respond to discovery requests.
- Review, evaluate, and analyze pertinent documents.
- Prepare for trial (trial experience is a plus).
- Research and analyze cases, statutes, and secondary materials cited in briefings.
Qualifications for Discovery Associate:
- Exceptional analytical, writing, and research skills.
- Proficiency in document management systems and time record-keeping software.
- Aggressive advocacy skills.
- Experience in trial and Products Liability a plus
- CA State Bar membership in good standing.
- Experience: 2-5 Years in Civil Litigation
$135,000/yr – $175,000/yr
