Known for representing whistleblowers and victims of discrimination, retaliation, and harassment, the firm is staffed by veteran trial attorneys litigating high-profile cases statewide. The firm seeks a full-time associate with at least two years of California employment litigation experience (federal experience a plus) who is committed to social and workplace justice. Expectations are high, tolerance for errors is low, and mutual respect is mandatory.
What You’ll Do
- Manage cases from intake through resolution
- Negotiate, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, appeals, discovery, and legal correspondence
- Handle discovery strategy, document management, legal research, and trial prep
- Argue motions, present witnesses, take/defend depositions
- Communicate regularly with clients
- Mentor and oversee paralegals and legal assistants
- Prepare reports and keep stakeholders informed
