HR Coordinator (51649KJ)

HR Coordinator – Century City Office

Hybrid – 4 days in office

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION:

This job is ONLY for those who have law firm background in California. Otherwise, you resume cannot be considered. Thank you.

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw firm with offices around the globe, is looking for a sharp, energetic HR Coordinator who can juggle calendars, policies, new hires, and maybe a puppy insurance form or two—all without breaking a sweat. This isn’t your typical HR gig. This HR Coordinator role is perfect for someone who wants to be in the legal world without needing a law degree—or a caffeine IV.

Here’s what makes this HR Coordinator position worth showing up for:
✔ A law firm that believes “family-friendly” and “high-performing” can coexist
✔ Growth potential that doesn’t involve climbing over anyone’s cubicle
✔ Excellent benefits (yes, including pet insurance for your overachieving labradoodle)
✔ A team that actually values your input, your humor, and your playlist at the holiday party

What the HR Coordinator Will Be Doing:

  • Posting jobs, tracking applicants, scheduling interviews, and keeping candidates looped in without ghosting anyone (recruiting karma is real)
  • Sending new hire paperwork and helping newbies feel like they’re not joining a cult—just a really organized law firm
  • Assisting with onboarding, orientation, and keeping benefits running smoothly (401k? Check. Health insurance? Covered.)
  • Managing personnel files and I-9s like a champ, and mastering E-verify like it’s your side hustle
  • Helping with open enrollment and answering those “quick HR questions” that are never actually quick
  • Coordinating firm events—staff appreciation days, wellness clinics, holiday parties, and maybe the occasional bake-off
  • Supporting performance reviews without making anyone cry (ideally)
  • Backstopping the admin team when someone’s on vacation and making sure attorneys get their CLEs without panic

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in a Human Resources support role – must be in a law firm and must be in California
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and employment law will do the trick
  • A sense of humor, an eye for detail, and the ability to keep a dozen plates spinning

If you’re ready to bring your HR superpowers to a top-tier law firm and make a real impact, this HR Coordinator role is calling your name. And trust us—this one’s worth answering.
