Position Overview

The ideal Employment Litigation Attorney will bring at least five years of hands-on litigation experience and the ability to handle cases from intake through trial. Direct experience in employment litigation is highly preferred. This role involves managing pre-litigation negotiations, drafting, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and argue complex motions, including those related to punitive damages, intentional interference, conspiracy, and tort claims.
• Conduct prove-ups, sheriff’s sale motions, and other post-judgment enforcement actions.
• Prepare complaints, oppositions, replies, and other key pleadings.
• Lead discovery strategy and responses, coordinating closely with skilled paralegal staff.
• Develop and execute trial strategies in employment cases.
• Support broader firm litigation involving contract and tort disputes when needed.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of five years of litigation experience; employment litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in writing, drafting persuasive pleadings, and complex motion practice.
• Trial experience or substantial trial preparation background.
• Ability to thrive in a family-friendly, collegial environment with exceptional paralegal and administrative support.
